Computer assisted translation (CAT) is at the crossroads of translation and IT. It is not to be confused with automatic translation: computer assisted translation involves a human being. They simply rely on a piece of software to facilitate part of the process.

CAT tools enable us to save all translations carried out in a translation memory and to guarantee consistency related to terminology and style. At Tradissima, we mainly use SDL Trados Studio 2015/2017, as well as Wordfast and SDLX. Our translators take your company-specific terminology into account (glossaries, websites, reference documents, etc.) and send you any questions they may have for terminological approval. This advanced technology is the token of high-quality work, time savings and consistency. It also gives us the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our clients.
